Lost

Lost is uncomfortable. The mind rushes to fix it. But that’s the practice, isn’t it? Allowing uncertainty. Sitting with confusion. Getting curious—maybe even delighted—about the mystery of it all.

Let Them

We can’t control other people. Not their thoughts. Not their actions. Not their desires. Not how they see us. Trying to control what we can’t only leads to suffering. A better strategy? Let go. Remind ourselves to “let them” do what they’re gonna do and think what they’re gonna think. It’s our only real choice anyway.

Sthira & Sukha

The essence of a true yoga posture is one that is both strong (sthira) and relaxed (sukha). We’re looking for the balance between discipline and surrender in all aspects of practice—and not just on the yoga mat.

Excessive Celebration

I’m trying an Excessive Celebration experiment. Because celebrating even small wins can create positive habits, reinforce success, and make everyday moments more joyful.

Self Signaling

When you’re trying to step into a new version of yourself, start acting in a way that reflects the person you want to become, even before you fully feel like that person. This process, known as self-signaling, reinforces your new identity by giving your brain tangible evidence that you’re already becoming that version of yourself.

Perfect Square Days

The Fun Rule

During my first year in business, I created a rule that’s become one of my best decisions. I call it The Fun Rule. It’s simple: “I will only say yes to projects that seem like they’re going to be fun.”

Own Your Content

Don’t let the social media giants control your content. Write your stuff for you and yours first (like on a blog), then share. Better chi, I promise.
